IRS 4506-T Rollover from 2020 to 2021 to Include New Form 4506-C

  • The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has released a new Form 4506-C (Sept-2020) that is now available for use and can be found here. The IRS is transitioning the 4506-T form to be used by taxpayers to request their own transcripts directly through the IRS. Third party vendors who are requesting transcripts on behalf of their clients/taxpayers, will need to use the 4506-C form. We are now accepting the new September 2020 Form 4506-C, along with the September 2018 and March 2019 Form 4506-T until 11:00 AM Eastern Time on February 28, 2021. After which, only the new Form 4506-C will be accepted.
  • 2016 transcripts are no longer available to order.
  • 2020 is now the first option when ordering so please ensure you select the correct transcript years needed.
  • Please remember to date your 4506-C forms with 2021 vs. 2020 appropriately. Signature dates must not be more than 120 days old. Forms accidentally dated January 2020 will be rejected by the IRS.
