
Effective Monday, December 7, 2020, and at least through the end of December 2020, the California Secretary of State’s office will temporarily suspend pick up and expedite/preclearance services. Special handling fees are being waived and all documents will be returned by mail. The 72-hour rule is suspended for rejected filings. All documents dropped off will be deemed received at 5:00 pm on the date dropped off and processed on a first in, first out basis followed by drop-off and mail apostilles, conversions and mergers.
