About

Unisearch, Inc. is a public records research firm specializing in searching, filing and retrieving public documents nationwide. We offer an extensive range of Uniform Commercial Code/Lien and Corporate services to the legal, financial and business community in all 50 states and internationally.

Beginnings... Unisearch was founded in 1991 by Jan Hopton in Olympia, Washington. The company quickly grew and expanded into several states to provide better service to clients. In addition, we developed an extensive network of national and international research professionals as well as technology-based solutions to respond to customer needs.

People... Our success depends on the industry knowledge and expertise of our staff. Over half of our Service Representatives have been with Unisearch for more than ten years. This depth of experience and longevity is a testament to the great people who make up the Unisearch team.

Team... Our people provide you with professional, personalized service when you need to search, file or retrieve federal, state or county documents no matter how large or small the project.

Service... Our emphasis and strength will always be exceptional customer service provided by our experienced Service Representatives. Our flexibility ensures you will receive service to your specifications while our industry knowledge makes sure it is done quickly and correctly.

Technology... Unisearch has embraced technology as a terrific tool to provide the best possible service to our clients. Several years ago, we were one of the first companies to scan and email documents on a large scale, reducing wait times and costs for our clients. We continue to implement technology tools to provide instant UCC database searching & image download capabilities (WALDO) and a comprehensive UCC portfolio management system (EZFILE).

Our emphasis on people, service and technology has helped Unisearch become a leader in the public records research field. We continue to grow… why not grow along with us?
